Student Health Insurance Plan

ABAC’s Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) is a comprehensive health insurance plan available to students. This plan complies with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements. Health insurance is required of athletes, international students holding J or F visas and nursing students. All other students should strongly consider obtaining health insurance from this or another source. Parents and students may find ABAC’s SHIP is an affordable alternative for health insurance. Using Health Insurance at the Health Center

The Health Center accepts all major insurances. Students are encouraged to bring their health insurance cards to the clinic when they come for services. Insurance will be filed for clinic visits. The cost of the visit is applied to the deductible, and the Health Center does not bill the patient for the unpaid balance.
